WILLMAR, MN RELCO Unisystems Corp. has been certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to fabricate pressure containers. The certification process reviews a fabricators procedures and process of design, engineering, fabrication, inspection, testing and documentation for all manufacturing steps. Steve Ennenga, Manufacturing Manager for RELCO, explains, “We have proven to the National Board and the State of Minnesota that RELCO has an excellent quality system to properly track materials and processes, and superior technical knowledge to engineer and fabricate vessels that are subject to internal and external pressure”. RELCO has been providing customized stainless steel components and equipment that meet USDA and 3A fabrication standards for 17 year as part of its engineering and construction services to dairy, food and pharmaceutical plants. Loren Corle, RELCO’s President, points out that “most of our customers use ASME Code tanks or vessels in their plants for processing tanks, vacuum chambers, tube in shell heaters, evaporators and other applications and this is just one additional service we can now provide.
