HTST Training Simulator
RELCO provides a Milk Pasteurization Simulator System for hands-on operator training. The simulator is PLC controlled and has a HMI operator screen with pasteurization system graphics. Students can utilize and operate a live safety thermal limit recorder, flow diversion valves (FDV), and regulatory compliant PLC controller. Flow, temperature and pressure can be adjusted to illustrate actual operating conditions. The Simulator is a great training tool for dairy plant pasteurizer operators and supervisors because it shows exactly what happens when changes to flow, temperature, and pressure occur causing a flow diversion. Operators get hands on practice for start-up, shut-down and trouble shooting procedures that are difficult to duplicate with plant equipment.
